The Strong Start Initiative provides additional support for new educators in Osseo Area Schools to create welcoming learning environments that inspire and prepare scholars.
Research shows that the average teacher spends $895 out of pocket to prepare their classroom for the school year. Imagine being a brand new teacher and spending that much before you even have your first paycheck? We couldn’t either! District 279 Foundation committed to distributing $20,000 to brand new educators in the Osseo Area Schools this Fall.
